The only minority township in the Jiangsu Province,
Lingtang Hui Nationality Township has the biggest gathering of
Moslems in Jiangsu.

As early in 1265, the 16th decedent of Mohammed came to Yangzhou
spreading Islam. The Lingtang Moslems were given teaching by him.
